You just mentioned the rubbery stick. The Fords and Volkswagens will feel more upmarket. Volkswagens are super nice inside. I recently drove a Gold Alltrack. Subarus by contract are much older and downmarket inside. Volvos have always had nice interiors, although I haven’t driven the newest Volvos.
