At this point the WB should just announce a slight plot change to the Flash where the main character will now be played by a young latin girl who dresses like a Bat

That animated sequence is beautiful. Also loved that Sonny had no reaction to going through sequence where he was turned into a bird and fish and so forth.

ONJ was also the loose basis for Marvel’s Dazzler, who Marvel had a whole comic, singer, and music videos planned to release just as the anti-Disco pushback took hold.

Jeeze. That totally sucks. I relatively recently was exposed to her talents in Xanadu, a movie that gets a lot of flack but is so gosh darn charming couldn’t help enjoy the ride.

Yet another classic Kurosawa film was remade in the 60s as a western: Rashomon was made into The Outrage.
