As a Master-race user, I laughed at the pic. But remember, if a PC game claims to be able to run at 1080p or 4K but would only run 900p, wouldn't you be mad too. *Looking at Watch Dogs*
Regardless of whether the plaintiff wants money out of this or not, I think this case will be good for more transparency between companies claiming "ZOMGZ 1080p" and the consumers. Seriously, I'm tired of the "1080p.....................................but only on the CGI, other parts are 720p...900p if you're lucky"…

Still, amazing that someone didn't catch this Pokémon turd bread—or maybe, they knew and are laughing their asses off right now.
Hahaha I had the same impression, was slightly disappointed. Thankfully his voice partially compensates it
I'm not talking about the con, which I definitely support because it's a place where people who share similar interest can gather. What I am opposed against is OP's claim that MLP has an influence in the gaming community that it can be defined as a sub-set of gaming culture.
And yes, I guess I do judge (from my Tumblr…
In a literal (mythological) sense too :D
1) Yes I know that they're developing another fighting game since the cease and desist statement from Hasbro
2) I should've mentioned that the skin mods don't really count. Eg. A tower defense is a tower defense game even if it has Marvel/DC/MLP as skins of towers or enemies.
3) Oh, obviously we don't, OP's statement…
But that's basically Tower Defense with MLP skins on it. Again, the only two actual Brony games that I found that are not some skin mod is Legends of Equestria (which arguably looks like a skin mod for WoW) and Fighting is Friendship.
That's totally fine, again not knocking of people's choice of fandom. I mean, my profile pic is from Adventure Time. I just don't think that the brony fandom has permeated into the gaming culture right now. Hell I don't even think Adventure time is part of it even though they've released some dungeon crawling game.
All…
Technically Kotaku extends beyond the gaming community, as it also serves general pop-cultural fandom; including Japanese anime/manga (hence k-otaku), sci-fi/fantasy (with their sister site io9), cosplays, and somewhat game-related content.
I hope that helps clarify certain things
I can't really tell if he's trolling OKC or serious. I can't really tell these situations on the internets anymore :(
"Pony culture generates games, and it is a subset of gaming culture now"
Apart from a couple of flash games and smartphone apps (which seems to be targeted to 5-12 years old girls), I can't really find any other Pony games that you've mentioned. Again, not knocking on your choice of pop-culture entertainment, but I…
You mean this is what it was always intended for
I had a similar issue where I would see either the quote or the source before it was cut off, was a tad bit annoying.
I enjoyed how you cue the visual with the sound together. Again, your text was a bit too quick even though it switches out nicely to the beat of the music. Apart from that, all is well.
As much as I appreciate the switch of text comes in beat with the song, it's a little too fast IMO and I'm a pretty fast reader. What I got was either the quote but not the source or the source but not the quote.
