SO MUCH HYPE
Because adulthood amirite?
Those boars, they will chase you to the ends of the world.
Zhuge Liang's usual reply:
YES! Because unlike other RNG games (FTL, Isaac etc), Blizzard also included a sort of 'fail-safe' device as a timer system, which they refused to discuss at length :S, AND a guarantee drop from the Skeleton King (soon to be Diablo) in Torment 1 and higher. So you won't feel like you're just wasting your time grinding…
Actually some of your gear may be replaced in 2.0 because of the new "Smart-Drop" stats
I find it interesting how Diablo 3 2.0 is ALMOST like Diablo 2 HD-Remix...
I knew of it on the 3rd or 4th day of 2.0. I used to tinker with CM builds until Blizzard removes that skill. *shake fist*. Yeah, I saw how insanely OP the build is, but I haven't tried it with two hands since I currently hold a Triumvirate.
They'll probably nerf it eventually (I'm betting by RoS launch), but I'm…
Oh yeah that's what I meant by 2.0 loots not having any lifesteal effect except for MASSIVE life per hit bonuses (SUSPICIOUS).
Another thing I've noticed: As a wizard user, I seem to be able to actively and passively cast multiple shielding spells. This may be Blizzard 'balance' of removing lifesteal.
The lifesteal-removal won't be implemented till RoS at level 70. So I'm withholding my judgement on the Lifesteal-removal. That said, there is no nerf on life per hit, so I think that's fine either way. So far most of the 2.0 items that I've received tries to use life per hit rather than actual lifesteal.
Let's see. What do I love about the new D3 2.0?
Overhaul of the drop system: The legendaries are more RNG based than Magic Find%. That said, they have a hidden timer system that calculates your actual play time (and not idle time) and determines when a drop is appropriate, but it's still a RNG on when it'll drop, what…
