While I loooooove co-op games, it does take some of the tension out of a survival/horror shooter if you've got a buddy there with you.

Its not a subscription. Its like the season pass with Gears3. You get some extra stuff plus all the DLC at a discount (most of which isn't released yet, but when it is you get it 2 weeks early).
