People love their sports here... a lot of it is from having old teams that families have loved for generations. We also have a shit ton of college kids who have the time and energy to get all excited about sports, and it just kinda sticks with them. People into college sports aren’t dissimilar... Boston sports fans…

Well, we *did* have one of our best players gun people down... he didn’t exactly retain his popularity after that. Can’t say the same for teams who love their murderer (Ray Lewis), rapist (Roethlisberger), or child-beater (Peterson). We’re not an entirely unreasonable people.

That dude who plays Nick is super hot and Zoe Dewhatever seems very sweet, but a minute and a half of sitcom reminded me why I really just can’t fucking stomach them. It’s so awkwardly predictable, it gave me an anxiety flare-up.

They are aspirational. If a dress looks good on anybody, it’s probably a great fucking dress. People aren’t just big and small.

The prices definitely increased as they got bigger. I remember being able to get really cute little dresses for 40 or 50 bucks that are in the 80-90 range now. What a bummer.

I hate it when people say stuff like that. I like cats and dogs... I can understand why one might not be into one or the other, but is it so hard to say “I’m not really a cat person” as opposed to “cats are horrible”? It’s ok to not like them... you don’t need to disparage the entire species.

My kitty loves me most when I’m peeing. If I shut the door before he makes it into the bathroom after me, he meows and reaches under the door with his little paws.

My kitty used to be able to hear me coming from down the street... didn’t matter what time I was getting home, my housemates knew if he got up and sat by the door, I would be up (we lived on the 3rd floor) shortly. I have a somewhat distinctive gait so I’m sure that helped him out.

I escaped to Boston but still have some family there, so I keep tabs.
