So are psychotic shooter type people holding secret meetings to see how many innocent lives they can end before the US government does something about it? Because at the moment it kinda feels like they are lol-ing at our impotence on this issue.

We know this, and by all accounts, a majority of Americans agree. The NRA has a lot of money and too many politicians beholden to it... they are a tyrannical minority.

I haven’t even started watching this season yet. I’m looking forward to knowing what happens (just like every other season except maybe the 1st).

Agree! I’m cool with him staying in for DC. Let’s keep talking about stuff, bring it back to where he and Hillary mostly agree. Bernie didn’t come into the race expecting the nomination; why should he get out since he isn’t getting it?

The awareness stuff is deeply unsettling. It feels like glorifying something awful (cancer, shootings, the marathon bombings) for money and attention that doesn’t benefit those who are victims or those trying to stop those things.
