ok this is ridiculous. they are such an attractive couple..it's offensive. like i feel affronted, what the serious fuck. these two with their rainbow coalition of children behind them and brad's hair are plotting a takeover.

Ladies, you thought restraining orders were just for the guy who used to beat you and your kids! Now you know a fun and awesome way for the courts to protect you from your state legislature!

From the linked article:

". . .but then I found out the real truth, which I can’t necessarily disclose because I keep it locked in my safe for a rainy day."

This was exactly my thought.

Comparing this statement to how eloquent and intelligent Brand usually comes across in interviews... I don't think too much "equalness" was the problem.

Only marginally. I'm not so inclined to grant Melissa that point when the number of people who DO develop breast cancer who have that gene is 80%. When the "get cancers" outnumber the "never developed cancers" by a factor of 4, I don't think anyone should be crowing over the "plenty" of people who beat the odds.

Agree. I thought she was a bit smarter than that — or at least classy enough to keep her opinions of someone else's medical concerns to herself.

I know, right? Some of us actually have legitimate anxiety disorders. Telling us we're going to give ourselves cancer is not really the way to make us calm down, you know?

I actually had a "nutritionist" come in to my mother's hospital room...in the ward for terminally ill cancer patients, to tell us that she could totes get better if she just improved her diet/took vitamins... I honestly don't remember the exact wording. I was too busy raging to really listen properly by that point.

"I would say to anybody faced with that, that choice is way down the line on the spectrum of what you can do and to really consider the advancements we've made in things like nutrition and stress levels."

A much more fearful choice is choosing David Crosby as the father of your children.

Look Melissa, I know there aren't a lot of people coming to your damn window as of late but this is hardly the way to make that happen.

Did Melissa Etheridge really just give the "lentils" argument, #doe? Did she really go there? Obviously, Angelina needs more lentils, yoga, and muesli. Obviously.

Amen... I had breast cancer at age 26 and I don't think it was because "my stress turned it on". The FACT is, we DON'T know what causes it and why some people get cancer and some people don't (with and without BRCA), so for Melissa to try and be all high and mighty is ridiculous. I can't stand the people who try and

My body, my choice.

Allow me to translate abuser-speak:

This is my question too. If you like something, and it's free to do and takes only a few minutes.... why would you not be doing it a lot more often than a few times a year?

some people just have lower sex drives

Iwill never understand these people. Who doesn't like free pleasure?
