Yes, but they still need to have a plausible cause of action. The cause isn’t “has a lot of money” as suggested, it is something else—such as plagiarism, copyright infringement, etc., depending on the individual. Having money makes you a target, it isn’t the actual reason for a suit.

I graduated law School. I passed the bar. Deep pockets get sued for the slightest thing, assuming enough evidence so as to not breach rule 11, because they have deep pockets. More often than not there are settlements designed to just make that shit go away. (e.g., Fuck you money.)
