Obviously we know that in arguing that government-provided health care, they are completely ignoring the actual real world experience of pretty much every other developed nation. It hasn’t been tried here, so it’s an alien concept.

Why is it only kids and younger adults who don’t get healthcare, but when you reach some magical age, it’s suddenly ok? These people do not have one iota of compassion.

I think it’s fairly obvious that Joe didn’t just decide to write the op-ed because he was bored. Crowley put him up to it, and thinks it will lay the groundwork for him to campaign again.

Crowley claims he’s not running, but if he winds up winning re-election due to the 3rd party ballot, he can simply say that it was “the will of the voters”, and will “reluctantly, with great humility” serve another term.

In a time when the left and the center tend to be at each other’s throats, it’s nice to have something they can agree on: Hating Joe Lieberman.
