Dear ‘Murrican friends, I do not get You. Toyota Camry gets all the hate on Jalopnik, yet You want Skodas? Those cars which are so boring it could kill? My Parents have Fabia wagon, 1.4 liter 85 HP engine with LPG, nice car (“little” by American standards, family-hauler in Europe) but bland AF.

Meanwhile in Europe...

Is it only me who likes the production version more than this concept? Looks cheap.

Sorry to say that but You, Americans, are weird.

Here, I fixed that for ya.

Now playing

There is a fantastic song from metal band Sabaton about that story:

Yay! I was quoted on Jalopnik! <3 One more thing from my List Of Things To Do Before Death done!

Primo, a lot of time “Top Gear” was about travelling somewhere with cars and doing fancy things with them. That’s grand tour of some kind.

I really appreciate American culture, but a lot of sarcasm in article could only be countered with another sarcasm. “Top Gear” was always UK/European show with strong European references - as I look at the poster now even Clarkson/May/Hammond clothes are somewhat “upper-classy”, so I think reference to grand tour as a

For me this is a smart name, which “covers” all the aspects “new TG” aims for. I really like it.

“Because we’re Jalopnik, dammit! And if it doesn’t have Miata Tesla in the title, it shall therefore be MEH!”

Is the Tesla profitable... yet?

They are based on Renault Kangoo, to make things even more funny:

Good on you, Mercedes. Parts should trickle down, not up.

I don’t know if You know, but:

That’s right. We, the Poles, have the same saying for our works of art after World War II...

In Europe (especially Poland, where I live) there is one - absolutelly no rotors available for the rear brakes (EU SVX’es have vented rotors) and poor selection of front rotors (I have found two - one of which is total POS and second one is Brembo set for about half of my salary, and I’m not earning THAT little ;) ).

I don’t think of any other spacers than those hub-centric ones, with own lugs etc.

But the same stands for different wheel offset (now I know how it’s called in USA, thanks, duurtlang ), I think?
