It is not. It is made in Tychy, Poland. :) They have tested them (pre-prod?) on my beloved touge-like roads in Istebna (was overtaken by one). Also, sometimes on railstation in Gliwice (I study there) I watch kilometers long trains transporting hundreds of them - lovely little cars :)

Well... I think that Porsche is just purrfect.

Here in Poland roads can still be, to put it mildly, not in the best condition. A lot of trucks are overloaded, and in summer, when the roads are hot, they make nasty ruts. Ruts + water in them = not good. :P

Well they may have hard work with those poor P1's, 650S and MP4-12C...

Video from today, Warsaw, Poland:

In fact every Polish reader of Jalopnik may had one... or his parents had for sure. Fiat 126p (p stands for "Polski" - "Polish", as it was produced in Poland, in Bielsko-Biała, in FSM ("Fabryka Samochodów Małolitrażowych" - "Small Displacement Car Factory") was the car that motorized Poland.

Not a rally but codrive (an event organised for company, rally driver gives them a spin, so office workers can have some thrill too :P), but everything was legal & secured. Someone from security just screwed up, and civilian car got on a closed stage.

This accident took place one year ago near my village, in Istebna, Poland.

And I thought that learning about Z-80 and its architecture during my BSc on Silesian University of Technology is some weirdo-outdated stuff ;)

Anyway, creating that kind of displays on something like ATmega AVR (easier approach: Arduino) or PIC shouldn't be a problem anyway.

Guys, but we do had those I'gen Justy's (original Subaru) in Europe... also with CVT as an option...

Poland, to be precise :) Polish registration numbers on that Renault Scenic, and, as You said, polish crosswalk sign. ;)

Belgrade! Speaking of which: do You, Jalops, know the story of "The Belgrade Phantom"?

About me... well, not exactly.

If You had so many potholes in Your roads, and so little highways... You would prefer Subaru, too :P

Scrap metal...?

As owner of MY97 Impreza 2.0 (115HP) from Poland, I disagree with You as strong as I can. I LOVE this car (well, it's my first own car, but nvm) in almost every aspect.
