I actually am kind of excited about the Sony Netbox. I just want a box that streams Divx and other media from my computer without having to buy a console. The Netflix streaming is a nice bonus. At $139 I can justify it. This thing seems like a waste of cash though.

@MazdaMania: What extra money? As far as I understand, most phones of similar specs go for around two hundred on contract.

@ZGangsta: I understand this idea, but that is not my main objective for having an iPhone. In fact, part of me is slightly embarrassed by any attention it draws. I am too shy a person to want to show something off to people.

I bought my iPhone at the Apple Store and was immediately roped in to a section by myself so I wasn't bothered while it was being activated. I found this fanfare far more detestable and awkward. People kept staring at me. I should have picked my phone up in a nice, quiet AT&T store.

@Myklsan: I agree. I watched the movie as a result of the costume. However, the awesomeness of the Iron Man costume ruined the Tin Man costume reveal. Still, a pretty okay indie film.

I've been playing this game for the last four days and it is the most addictive iOS game I have ever played. I lost entire evenings just developing games and buying new licenses. It's pretty amazing how simple it is, yet totally deep. I hope they come up with an update that adds more options.

@monkunashi: Okay, I agree with you, but maybe I should clarify here. The tipping over is not out of the egg carton device. The tipping over is from attempting to carry a top heavy device with one hand. Unless the weight of the drinks are equally balanced (all four bays are full) it is fairly easy to drop when

@tasteskindasalty: I would say the egg carton device is fairly broken. The "make you think your drinks are about to tip over" comment seems valid, especially with the weight of multiple drinks. Also, did you not notice the handles? Seems pretty single handed to me.

@Stompy1: That is correct. Plus, as Snopes notes, the whole American spent millions of dollars in development thing is part of the myth. Paul C. Fisher used his own money to develop it. Hence, Fisher pens sells the space pen, not the American government:

@Icarus.: The carriers and manufacturers make money installing scumware on your smartphone. Gaming companies pay a lot to have demos of their games come with the OS. Thus, they have enacted these ridiculous, anti-consumer policies to squeeze every last bit out of us.

@WookieLifeDay: I think that's unfortunate. I agree that Secret Identity is too eclectic a tale for a summer tentpole film, but it doesn't have to be that. It can be a lower budget December film that actually is intelligent and dramatic. Eh, who am I kidding...movies are made for the lowest common denominator nowadays.

I've said this before, but I really want someone to adapt Superman: Secret Identity. It is a beautiful, poignant and fascinating take on Superman. Plus, it could be an intelligent take rather than a dumb, tentpole film. It would not held down by the original Clark Kent mythology. Hire Aronofsky and get it done...

@dannylebsock: Stores sell some of the same products. But you can't tell me that they sell all of the same products. Plus, and more importantly, I have been under the impression that software companies set the price of their apps. Thus, pricing probably wouldn't differ significantly between app stores.

@Kat Hannaford: I disagree. I think it's a poor analogy. There are different companies who have different supermarkets (app stores) but imagine if a company opened multiple supermarkets in the same city with the same exact products. They would only split their own business. Google's willingness to allow companies to

I'm actually happy this didn't make it into the movie, as ALL the promos ruined the joke. It is hilarious if you don't know ahead of time that he lands at Stark Expo. They ruined the joke, just like most movie trailers do.

@blackcat12: It's a perspective shot. Take a look at the other pole carefully. You will notice how much taller it is.

@TemporalSword: While Jordan's passing was sad, it gave Brandon Sanderson the opportunity to finish his series. If Sanderson had to finish Song of Ice and Fire, I would not be sad...

SG1 did a better sci-fi spin when they accidentally set off an ancient machine that did time skips.
