The owners community has been extremely resourceful when it comes to keeping the BattleTech pods running. The current iteration of BattleTech: Firestorm is based on the Mechwarrior4 engine and runs on Windows PCs vintage 2000 and some newer. The real challenge has been getting modern video boards to play nice with our

Virtual World Entertainment has a facebook group if you are on there.

That top pic is at my house. Ive been restoring and keeping the BattleTech VR pods running since 1999. In 2005 I bought the company. There are over 30 BattleTech pods travelling the country visiting various entertainment conventions. In fact, demand continues to increase from year to year. Fun trivia, I believe the

Its great to see how far VR gaming has come. I remember playing some of these in arcades as a kid.

I was just about to post that I remember playing Dactyl’s Revenge in probably about 1993 at this very place. North Pier, I think the whole place was called? And yeah, at that time it was every bit as mind-melting as the author speculated.

10 seconds of Dactyl Nightmare and my brain starts playing Weird Al’s Beverly Hillbillies / I Want My MTV mashup.

Dave and Busters in Toronto had a set of 6 that were a blast to play. Group of us would go and drop 40 bucks easily just playing them. It would print out your score and you could have your name in the game etc. Wish I knew were they went.

They used to have a location here in downtown Sacramento CA back in the day. They were trying to revitalize the area with higher end entertainment and shops. Sadly it did not last to long. But they were fun to play.

I was actually in a Dave and Busters this last weekend looking at the spot on the floor where the mech warrior pods used to be when I was a kid. I never got to try it as a kid and I still think about it randomly lol.

The pods still exist and in working order. There’s a group that travels to conventions with 6 or so of them.

You can’t just leave the sons in the woods for the White Walkers to pick up?

If the unerring accuracy didn’t give away that he was on PC, then the keyboard commands should have (e.g. “Press [SPACE] to continue”).

Agreed. After playing as Mercy for hours with randoms that did not want to be healed, ran off solo, didn’t protect me from being constantly ganked, I finally gave up on support. I understand it’s an open beta, but I wonder how many people will buy the game and try to continue to play it with a complete lack of

In other news - we will make millions of dollars on this game, so F*** the internet and F*** YouTube, we know you will play it anyways, SUCKAHZZZZ!!!!

I remember begging my dad to buy Grape Nuts for me, because I loved grapes and I loved nuts, and I figured it must be the best combination ever. Finally one week he did.

Lol, Grape Nuts are the only way to eat large quantities of cat food without dying.

plus, for some people, they have the hardware to get simple games like Stardew Valley to run, but not the hard drive space to dedicate to a whole Windows install. As an example, I have a 128 GB Macbook Air. I don’t really use it for games, since I have a good desktop PC at home, and 128GB is plenty for my schoolwork,

This is only if you have the copper upgrade, and applies to the watering can also. With silver you can hoe/water a 5 square line, and with gold you can hoe/water a 3x3 grid!

Only if its upgraded, and that goes with the watering can and shovel.
