I think there’s a certain charm. I play the occasional Playstation horror game/rpg and get fuzzy feelings. I don’t know if I’d want this to be a trend, but I’ve been meaning to try Back in 1995.

While Klefki only has the same four keys in the games, in the anime the announcer/referee of the Pokémon Showcases has a Klefki with whatever Princess Key is being awarded instead of the normal keys. I believe there was also a Pikachu short with a Klefki with about 20 different keys.
