Completely agreed with the NSX. Its a car I absolutely adore, and in the flesh they are just amazing to look at; they hold up to this day as a design that stands out among the lot. In pictures, however, they never look interesting.

He’s quoting from The Big Lebowski. Good movie if you like clever satire/comedy.
Took the words out of my mouth. Every point is spot on. I don't think this list could get any more comprehensive.
Cadillac all the way. They've shown enormous commitment to quality and to the driving experience with a great product line that looks fantastic, keeps on improving year after year and has a definitive identity.
Let me underscore that I actually agree with you a lot. Again, I love Clarkson and the chemistry he has with May and Hammond. My favorite laugh out loud episode was the hover van episode where it really clicked in that what makes it appealing is that I am watching three teenagers who happen to look like middle aged…
Don't get me wrong, I love Clarkson and the show. But I am recognizing what a lot of others are as well, that the show is just passing its crest and it is starting to feel forced and a bit tired.
I say promote Hammond to first chair of the show, and either get two new co-chairs or keep May and bring on another. Its time to skew a bit younger anyhow. This would be a good opportunity to gently transition to a next generation of hosts, format and viewers.
Looks WAY better than the gas version!! If I had the money, it would be this over the other one. Sure, not as much power but the torque numbers are enough to put a smile on my face.
"everyone wants to be America"
The R8 was never the prettiest super car in my mind, but the side blade was most definitely the only element that prevented it from being outright boring. It was as the article puts it, iconic. It was a signature in a mostly "typed" design.
The Grimes and Robyn comparison had me expecting something good.
This. I walked away from a beautiful CTS sedan because the dealership was a combo GM dealer that sold everything under the label. The sales force was sleazy and aggressive. The moves the salesperson tried to make were laughably predictable and I felt dirty just talking to him. Ultimately, he overpriced the car by…
Yes, the Jetta was all sorts of horrible. I had it on loan as a courtesy car. Uncomfortable, boring, and pointless.
"I am going to explode and unleash on you"
Good lord my friend, where were you a year ago!!
I got 3 episodes in and I was bored to tears.
I cannot agree more, sir. I grew up during the 90's import scene, and the NSX was legend. There was an instant mystique about this lithe, flat to the ground Honda. It was paper thin and looked so incredibly different to anything else at that time.
Yeah, same. Ya know with all this talk of cars priced well over $100k it just makes me more and more impressed by what Chev did with the Z06 and for the price theyre offering that sort of performance. Yes, its not mid-engined and hybrid and new tech sexy, but just for making something like that close to accessible,…
Amen. This new car is never going to be an NSX to me. Not really. Bit heart-breaking really.
God bless you sir!
