Every time I hear “soulful cover” I read it as “slower, more runs, more vocal fry, eyes closed.”

Not bad. It’s a tough song to sing.

If you see this on a tweet, it’s a dead giveaway:

Edit/Warning:

What I’ve found in my travels and moving to another country is that you’re going to mess up and be rude no matter how many rules you study beforehand... and that you’ll generally be forgiven if your general attitude is one of, “I know I’m a stupid foreigner. Please forgive me for what I don’t know and teach me.”

That’s not even the point of the post. The post (and Sethi’s Ladder Method) isn’t about saving for goals; it’s about how to prioritize retirement savings.

From the movie her: You shouldnt “juice” fruits - that takes out all of the fiber and you are just left with sugar. You should only “juice” vegetables. No more orange juice coming my way.

“There’s nothing funny about threatening people’s lives,” he said.

This is why I don’t study language. There are no rules.

Check your local rules, but generally you also don’t want to crush aluminum or tin cans before putting them in the recycling bins. It does take up a lot of extra space, but leaving them uncrushed makes it much easier for the recycling center to sort them.

$5 says he’s ‘pro-life’ too.

Well, I’m sorry for what happen

Why it gotta be mom’s cooking? Dad don’t cook? I’m kidding of course, but someone would’ve taken it there because people can’t just let an affirmation stand. Their mindset is affirmation for you = denigration for me.

That tweet was unbelievably innocuous and kinda warm. It sounds as divisive as “shoutout to mom’s cooking.”

This is the real question.

As a vegetarian, I find these studies preposterous because they clearly reflect the biases of the lead researcher(s) (and possibly the sponsors) more than anything else. If the intent of the study was to truly compare different types of diets and the risks of heart disease, it would have been more rigorously designed

Kristin, did you ever write a 3rd Stage post? I may have missed it.

Travel! Well, that's just what I would do.
