Reminds me of a comment in the Stranger Things fan theory thread:
"My favorite hint that she might be the monster is when she said she was the monster."

I really want to make the garlic bread recipe I got from you a few days ago, but I'm worried about not being able to find a thin enough loaf of sourdough to do so, think it'll work to cut slices into the bread about 3/4 the way down (so they're not complete slices and it's still a loaf), then coat one side of each

I remember watching a video for RA training when I was in college that was an anonnymized (changed voice and turned into a shadow like on the news) frat guy that said they'd try to get woman drunk at parties after "marking" them in classes to have sex with them. The interviewer was like "so you had plans to rape

Apparently he got laid off around the time he was thinking of quitting to do music full time, but was getting sick of working at a corporation and whanot

An absolute blast to see live. Such a nice dude, as well. I really enjoy all of the projects he's done, especially Dan P and the Bricks, which features some members of Slow Gherkin.

KKK Highway?

I fear my peas have outgrown the planter I have them in, but I expected that, though I still feel a weird sense of sadness and loss over it even though I saw it coming. However, my jalapenos and tomatoes seem to be flourishing after a transplant. The tomatoes are 3' to 4' or so in height and I'm starting to see some

It's impressive as heck in person too, he wore a very nice tan suit with a green tie and some boss wing tips at the CBB live show I went to

This sounds like it should be a lyric in "Ice Ice Baby"

Same!

I hear ya on this one. I'm proud to consider myself a social justice ally but I don't know how it became accepted norm to look for and poop all over people who make mistakes or do things because they're misguided. Should people have direct conversations when they feel somebody has wronged them or hurt somebody?

Sometimes I dream of taking a road trip to Asbury Park to see a show like that

Took a minute to get used to hearing Mikey Erg's voice over the slower pace of this compared to The Ergs! but I really dig it. Super looking forward to this album

Happy birthday!

I enjoyed #1, and really enjoyed the obviously playing for cheap adorableness BB8 comic at the end of the first. Picked up #2 this past weekend and have yet to read it, but I'm excited for the series

I was hoping the article would have had…. well… anything that would be any sort of new or enlightening info. It was basically "Yup, people still rent porn. It costs money"

I think my dad counted down the days until I was of an age when it was OK to show an "R" rated movie to me so he could show me the original (though looking back there isn't a whole lot that forces it to be an R nowadays)

They were probably discovered by theater staff really early on but the consensus was "Eh, who cares?"

Ahg! I should've read all the comments first, this was pretty much my exact experience.

My father is of an age where he was in the exact demographic Blues Brothers was aimed at so, naturally, I was raised hearing the praises of the film/group. The two of us were so excited when this came out. Boy, were our hopes dashed quite expertly.
