It’s time to embrace her pre-determined destiny anyways: angling for coverage in People magazine for her marriage to Steve Guttenberg’s nephew

Reports from thousands of women that breast implants are causing problems like debilitating joint pain and fatigue, claims long dismissed by the medical profession, are receiving new attention from the Food and Drug Administration and researchers.

Unknowing or not, they should not benefit from their parents’ fraud. They’re still taking a spot from a student who actually earned it. If your parents steal a car and gift it to you, you don’t get to keep it when the theft is discovered. 

As a doctor, I will never forgive Jenny McCarthy, ex-Dr. Andrew Wakefield, and people like this for disseminating such misinformation to the world and causing such a backwardness in the public scientific knowledge base.  May they rot in hell.

Of course, they never, ever talk with any actual autistic people. To them, if we don’t come out normal and perfect, we are ruined.

I’ve gotten grief for being adamant about teaching my daughters how to cook because “women don’t NEED to cook to feed men” but I’m teaching them because they NEED to be able to feed themselves. Yes, restaurants exist but I grew up broke so it’s hard to break the “Hay comida en la casa” mentality.

Weird to call out Maggie Rogers, she seems like a fine fit.

I love this show but I can’t help but feel that the episodes are too short. The house makeovers are nice, but they’re so quick! I’d like to learn more about the things the Fab 5 are actually doing for people, I’d like to see more of the process. Maybe that feels like filler but I feel like these episodes fly by.

Some people with disabilities, especially those that manifest more physically and are more visible, seem to fear that physican-assisted suicide will lead to a ‘duty to die’ and the involuntary euthanasia. I understand that fear, but I think the current physician-assisted suicide laws are written to avoid that, as well…

No sirree, I don’t want my government getting in between me and my healthcare. I’m perfectly happy with a private corporation that has a clear profit incentive to deny me coverage.
