I once dug the Monkees. I was age 12 when the show premiered, and held them in high esteem until more recently, when I flashed on the fact that the Monkees, like so many other performers, were merely a bunch of Laurel Canyon priveledged souls. Very disillusioning.
Apocalypse Now had an amazing soundtrack. Waits was recording when the film was first released, but meth was uncommon in Vietnam, and Forrest wasn't the cast member speeding.I like Waits, but the suggestion here is a really turgid mess, and reflects a shallow perception of the film.

They are indeed. I'm sure that these studios employ child psychologists. Better to sell stuff to kids than feed them, and provide with adequate health care.
This movie must be exponentially bad, since most of these CGI productions receive gushing endorsements from AV Club staff writers. All these films seem pretty awful to me, and I've seen a few, having a four year old granddaughter.
