Anne Morrow Lindbergh?

This seems to reference the recent German mini-series/film, "Our Mothers, Our Fathers".

That isn't so long ago. I had a MONO copy of Sgt. Pepper!

With due respect, WHY?

Lou Reed wannabes, at least regarding personal appearance. Queen ain't the Velvet Underground.

Then why do all their songs sound the same?

What about the Osmunds? Donny Osmund was way better than Freddy Fender, so was Jim Nabors.

This band is/was just another soundalike product of the 70s/80s, right up there with Kansas, and REO Speedwagon, plastic pop characteristic of that dull era. And, for better or worse, the disco era was over by 1980.

Dwayne Johnson as Shadow, Brian Cox as Mr. Wednesday.

Who'll play Shadow? It's never stated outright, but I got the impression the character was African-American (that is, in addition to being Baldr).

Glad I missed most of them. The Greta Gerwig character was an unpaid household servant of vastly inferior social status to the Ben Stiller character—oh, I forgot, I done seen Margot at the Wedding. Baumbach only makes movies so his girlfriends can star in them. A total fraud, born to the movie industry! Spoiled brat.

I see a movie every week, though I concede that most of what I view is mainstream. I've heard of maybe three of these, seen one (Counselor; hated it). I thought the critics' gushing over boring Iranian movies had ended several years ago. The choice of films here is almost stereotypically arty/snobbish.

If "the Words" was in black&white, AV Club would've listed it as #1.

Wretched dialog, movie length=critical endorsement

Bougie? Frances Ha director Noah Baumbach's second film, Greenberg, was about a guy having an affair with his brother's SLAVE!
