Regarding pronunciation, EYE-sis isn’t always the way it’s pronounced. There are many Latinas named Isis who pronounce it EES-ees (one of whom is one of my therapists).

Yeah, I am a little worried about her ditching her therapist, though. As someone who’s been to a billion therapists, I’ve noticed that my pattern has been to stop going once the therapist starts getting into issues I don’t want to discuss. Which can definitely hinder progress.
