...how...rude. Even if she was hired because she is a woman, how does that make her "11th best"? I haven't read any of her stuff, so I can't honestly defend her writing, but having to hire "token" employees says more about the company than the employee.

I see what your saying, but I would bet that the people designing the female characters to show a lot of skin and to have big tits are the people who are doing the harrassing.

Marry me!

I really want to meet the person who spends $98 on PAISLEY LEGGINGS. Srsly, is there a body type besides 'skeleton' that would be flattered by that article of clothing?

But, but then we'd be help those harlettes (sp?) get access to the basic necessities of life that most of the population takes for granted!!!

That is seriously one of the worst things I have heard. I know where I went to high school, absence for pregnancy was NOT TOLERATED, so any girl who did get pregnant got an abortion or dropped out and went to virtual school or the local vocational school.

I think this person is actually Mitt Romney. You should see some of his/her other comments.

I don't believe he is pricking on track (although he could be, how would anyone know?) I think he's making an illusion to the precedence sports takes over a lot of other programs in (some/most?) schools.

Your second point seriously blew my mind. Why would anyone want to get rid of something that is working and beneficial?

You bring up a good point. I remember there being an article on Jez about how some women living in southern states had to go to Mexico for an abortion. I would be interested to know more details about the economic classes also.

It's not necessarily the industry that's the problem. It's the consumers, who happen to belong to society, who happen to subscribe (more or less) to certain beliefs. In other words, it's the people: people who subscribe to the way American culture de-values and debases women will probably think the idea of watching a

That's awesome you both enjoy that together! Sounds like you guys are doing something right.

Your story is testimony to how we need to change education and attitudes towards people who have English as a second language. Thank you for sharing, and I'm sure you've seen support from other readers who know what @papershitkm had to say is completely ridiculous.

I like how you personally insulted this person, but prefaced it with "not to be personal". Did you fail to notice that the OP mentioned her mother, but not a father? Is it her mother's fault that the father of her children didn't help as much as he could either?

This...is...PERFECT. It actually makes a bit of sense if you think about it.

You know that's an excellent point. I think there is plenty of opportunity though to discuss why we percieve that (women being more moral) to be the case sometimes.
