Eh, as an OSU fan I never heard any Meyer is overrated stuff from other fans. Maybe I didn’t talk to enough fans but it never really crossed my mind to think the guy who kicked our asses in the national title game as overrated.

So he should be fired for lying to reporters?

To be fair that season was a disappointment.

“On a scale of 1 to 10, where 10 is being fired, what he did was a 74.” Get over yourself dude, you’re a reporter. If lying to a reporter is a firable offense then a whole lot of people would lose their jobs. No one cares that he lied at media days.

But that’s embowafa’s point. The blind Kobe adorers who say he’s top 10 or 5 are stupid. But articles/people like this who act like he wasn’t even a top 100 player are equally stupid. History will be just as kind to him as it should be. Like KingofKong said he currently slots into the 15-20 range with a couple current

If he new and reported it to the school, what else is he supposed to do? All of the reports that came out yesterday are about how he new and lied about it to reporters at big ten media days. If that’s the worst he did that’s not fire able. If lied to the police or tried to cover something up then he should be fired,

Honest question is that how Title IX works? I wasn’t sure if Title IX applied to this since it didn’t involve any students or athletic facilities. Also what are the mandatory reporters responsibility to report if the police have already been involved?

Has Meyer done anything illegal or anything against Title IX or NCAA policies? Maybe I’m missing something but from what I’ve read this new report says Meyer knew about the 2015 incident that police were already involved in. What else is he expected to do? Not firing the coach right then is a shitty thing, but it was

So just so I have this straight, if this report is true the only thing Meyer has done wrong is lie to a bunch of reporters at Media days, right? Was he ever approached by the police or do these text say there were other incidents he knew about that the police were not involved in?

The other thing that sucks about this is that Smith was easily Meyer’s weakest coach. Now he may lose his job covering up for a coach who I personally wanted fired years ago for just not being good at his job. This is why you don’t do nice things for people; even if you owe their grandpa.

I’ll say it. Bryce Harper is overrated as fuck.

Here’s the difference between the two for me in this last series. In game 1 Lebron went 51-8-8 19/32 and 3/7. His teammates were 7/30 from 3 and he still dragged them to a missed free throw away from winning game 1.

I know this is a joke but this is honestly kind of how I feel. It’s not his fault the rest of the NBA failed to build cores that could compete with the Warriors and agreed to a one time cap spike that allowed them to sign him to an almost max deal. Like can you really blame the guy for going to the team that could pay

But he’s right. KD is a phony, whiny, oversensitive little cry baby, but he’s 100% right. Portland aren’t a threat to anything and all the complaints about how his move to GS ruined the game just prove he made the right choice.

But there’s no lack of self awareness. It had nothing to do with the talent overload the Warriors have. Durant backed CJ into a corner by getting him to defend Nurkic and then said why would Boogie go to Portland if they already had a good center? It would be “too much of one thing”. CJ then either had to agree with

Exactly. I’m ok with this tying payment to graduation idea as long as scholarships are fully guaranteed and can be completed at any time regardless of circumstances (barring criminal conduct). And however many years you played for the school you are entitled to compensation for those years. If someone leaves early and

Yeah this is the saddest part to me. None of this is surprising, and nothing will change from it.

It’s actually very good food. But I’m ok with the ridicule it gets around here because its kind of funny, and it really does look gross as hell.

He’d be a better fit in Philly than LeBron would. The Sixers need to focus on him.

I don’t know the ins and outs of the tennis world, so have they really been going after Venus and Serena? They’re the 2 biggest names in the sport. I don’t doubt there was some of that in the early years, but are there really still enough racists in charge to hold a 20 grudge of the biggest stars of the sport?
