Seriously though. In both series after every game we try to draw a reasonable conclusion to the series based on the basketball we’ve seen, and then the next time out on the floor all four teams just say fuck it, let’s see what happens today.

Garret is 6-6 230, Baez is 6-0 190. Garret would have destroyed him. Why do think Baez tried to bring the bat?
Still Baez and Rizzo. Baez is one of the flashiest and most show offy players in the game (And that’s a good thing! Its when guys celebrate doing good baseball things.) But he got so upset when someone showed him up he started to walk towards the mound with a bat in hand. And what the fuck was Rizzo doing? That whole…
With responses people have to this kind of stuff, I 100% believe no other country has mental problems on the scale that the US has. We have without question the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet living in this country.
Wouldn’t it be more like hurdles? Running with and exageratted high step every 10 meters is deliberately difficult and inefficient with no value outside a Hurdles race. So get rid of that.
I think you’re blowing things a little out of proportion. Most of the picks for this series were GS in 5 or 6. That’s still very much in play. Sure no one expected Houston to blow them out of the water like this in a game, but its not all that surprising when one team plays very well and the other plays very poorly.…
I hope you’re not comparing James Harden to LeBron James with that last comment.
If you played by today’s rules I’d buy that. With help defense and less physical play the Warriors would have the 3 best shooters on the floor by a good margin. Eventually the overall talent would overwhelm them, similar to what they do to teams now, but they could hang.
Excellent. Now I too can profit from the unpaid labor of 19 year olds.
Skittish little gentrifying shits is a term that made me laugh.
Well Durant for one. They’re both listed at 240. Plus some of the Warriors other bigs did fine against AD, so Capela shouldn’t too much of problem. And as always the bigger question is can Capela hang out on the perimeter on D. The Warriors have a tendency to make centers unplayable on defense.
This would spell disaster for the Rockets then. Capela has been great but the Warriors have the unique ability to make a player like him unplayable on defense. He may not be able to stay on the floor against this team. This series comes down to Houston’s shooters. They have to shoot much better than they have been so…
I think the idea behind this for the Reds was never to keep Harvey for more than this year anyway. If by some miracle Harvey does well for Cincinnati they’ll trade him to a contender for whatever. They essentially used Mesoraco, a 30 year old back up catcher who they weren’t going to have after this year anyway, to…
I feel the exact opposite. The level of talent in the NBA today far out paces what it was 20 years ago. And Michael never had a team like the Warriors or even the Duncan Spurs to go up against. Now a days to be even considered a possible contender you have to have 2 or 3 Hall of Famers on your team.
I like how the Spanish on is amigas. Allows him to make it very clear what kind of friends he’s looking for.
This is a bad take. LeBron is the best player in the world, but Warriors even without KD are the best team in the world. GS was the better team in 2016 and should have won that title. The KD signing was a move made out of spite. It was more like “Ok you stole one from us, so how about we grind you into dust now.”
And LeBron had to add Kyrie and Love to beat a Warriors team with a hobbled Steph, no center, and a suspended Draymond.
You know they beat him without KD too right?
It’s not that he’s a fraud, its just that right now his game has a glaring weakness that the second round of the playoffs, where presumably only the best teams are still around, he can be exploited. He’s got plenty of time to fix it, but being unable to score in the playoffs makes you a liability, especially when…
I don’t think its a legit complaint at all. I absolutely hate people who go into movies and judge them based on what they know outside of the movie. Going to movies requires a suspension of disbelief. You have to accept what your watching has no basis in the real world and the real world has no basis in it. If you…
