The problem is that learning is seen as evil and weak. People are working very hard not to learn while pushing simplified revisionist history.

If the alternative is to bench Maxine Waters or anyone else who is ”controversial” to conservatives in favor of appeasers like Schumer, then we get what we’ve got now: less than nothing.

I graduated in the mid 90s. Pre frosted tips youth pastors.

I can’t wait to see My Big Fat Greek Divorce. I hate John Corbett and thought it was a massive stretch that a guy who reminds me of every stringy haired youth pastor looking for a high school aged wife was such a catch.

You’d think the company that had a pedophile spokesman for a decade would get their franchise employees in check.

Yes. Yes indeed. It really freaked me out and I went back to Neutrogena face wash.

Don’t worry. I was told that electing Trump would shake things up and get the revolution started.

I’ve run into politicians/lobbyists exactly 3 times:

Teaism. Not a specialized taco spot, really. They specialize in teas. Asian themed. Think bento boxes and Asian fusion.

As soon as you cross the Bay Bridge, the confederate flags come out.

There comes a time when people must suffer the consequences of their choices. No one can (or should) save her from her hubris. This is what she voted for. It wasn’t a surprise. Let Bernie have her back. Though he’s pretty busy these days defending Huckabee Sanders, being wishy washy on ICE and backing anti-choice

Despite the media polishing, Shaun King is fucking terrible.

When the population of women drops, the men become more violent towards the women who can’t leave. Or traffick in poor women to abuse them.

I wish I believed in that revolution. But liberals have been acting squeamish and horrified for days because Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked to leave a restaurant. While she defends separating children from their parents and putting them in cages.

Who are they even trying to fool at this point?

For the record, I appreciate your commentary because there is some fight behind it.

I think it matters in a huge way. I think it’s amazing! I just don’t think the credit for that win belongs to people who put forth a very dangerous, one sided version of nice. I credit that win to the voters who see the writing on the wall and are ready to fight fascism. I want to see more people like that.

You’re such a fan of facts, you can’t be bothered to read more than a paragraph or two because with all that extra info, you might forget how to wipe your ass after you take a shit. Or forget how to spell your name.

We just might. But that matters little. The current congress version of nice is attending cocktail hour and toasting it up with people who’ve just come back from a day of putting kids in cages at detention centers and passing bipartisan Blue Lives Matter bills in the House.

A win, but not for being passive and cowardly. Like Pelosi and Schumer.
