nba 2k5 and 2k6 were exceptional. 2k7-2k10 were lacking. due to 2k developing 2k7 alongside the ps2 and next gen systems and they didnt catch up until 2k11 but if you can go back and play 2k5 (with ben wallace on the cover) it was a great game. it had the 24/7 mode and was very polished.

whats even better is that some levels will be completely different for players 3-4 because at some point you will get split up from 1-2 and be in completely new areas that the other team cant explore. much like in part 1

this might be biased since gears in my favorite current gen franchise but yes you should definitely finish gears 2. i love both games and i think gears 2s campaign was a big step up in terms of gameplay and presentation. i suggest playing it on hardcore though instead of the default setting.

its not broken. i play everyday. at launch it was broken. now its very playable but the game does have latency issues depending on host. if you play with a good host the game runs as smooth as any other game out there. the netcode may be buggy but the game definitely isnt broken
