I’m still crying inside that Del Toro’s version of Hellboy 3 won’t be made. I thought Hellboy 2 was a drastic improvement over Hellboy 1, and the world-building was fantastic. And the sequel tease towards the end of the movie (when Hellboy has the shard removed) makes it sting even more.

Definitely not a kid’s movie. I watched it last night with my wife, and it has a lot of cursing (many f-bombs), a fair amount of human violence, animal sexual violence, and slaughterhouse scenes. A kid watching this would be traumatized.
