Im not saying that. I am saying the real “aggressor” is being determined by what the refs are allowing off ball and on ball NON shooting. I see it. No stats exist for that of course. Last night the refs let Warriors play rough and didn’t let thunder play rough and Warriors won. The stats are just meant to dispel the

I was referring to drives. “fts” mean free throws not distance. but yes I was mostly refrying to aggression and the narrative that driving and more paint try imply aggressing and that who get the FTs. I see your stats showing thunder attempting many jumpers. My point exactly. Warriors ARE being aggressive.

I see with eyes then wanted to look at the stats. Whomever is allowed to play rough will win. If it is equal then the teams are evenly matched. That is my opinion. Please fell free to go to NBA.com stats and filter for west conference finals. The urls are too crazy to post.

Warriors: 48.8% fgs on 16.8 fga on drives, 4.8-5.4 fts. total points 21.2.

Actually, I’m talking percentage including the FTs. The killer fts have been when in the bonus and off ball stuff. Also, allowing one team over the other to play rough on and off ball. This goes both ways, and is the reason the Warriors won last night.

warriors have a better percentage than thunder on drives

my point is warriors are being aggressive and having better success than thunder driving. I agree with you on the switching it has worked well for thunder. I just want to dispel the aggression narrative. The majority of fts problems are coming from non shooting and leading to bonus. Take last night, warriors

Yes I agree with you. These are the fouls I’m referring to. What the refs allow dictate the “aggressor” and this series (and cavs series) has been pretty rediculous.

I’m saying I did look. And that’s what the numbers say. NBA stats make this very easy to do. There is now tracking data for every play and play type. I am not what you think.

If that's the case then they will.

Seem

NBA stats team tracking data go for it player- filter for just this round west

This series, Warriors have more shots within 10 feet. And Warriors drive more. Also, even including possessions ending in fts Warriors have been more effective doing so. So the aggressive narrative is bs. Thunder actually shoot a lot of jumpers. Look, it’s easy to look aggressive when you are allowed to grab off ball

Look I’m a fan. But why should I go into a game saying “I wonder who the refs will favor?” And who they favor wins almost every time. It’s dumb. Not fun at all-

Good argument, I see why you like wwf.

If you like wwf so be it. I'm just sick of it and looked up the data for proof. Sorry for using my brain.

This whole series has been determined by the refs. Those who don’t see it are in denial or caught up in superficial storylines. In fact, before this game warriors have had driven the ball more, taken more shots within 10 feet and have had more success doing so, even including free throws. It’s what the refs allow off

FUCK race. I liken this bullshit to people who, in the old days, might have said, “don’t study the tape just watch the game live”. It’s just dumb. Why would sports be immune to analysis or science? It is HOW you apply or use the information. Raw or algorithmic numbers need to be interpreted and applied to specific
