bought a used 2016 Nissan Leaf in December of last year. I love driving it and its one of 2 cars I’ve owned that I enjoy driving. when its battery becomes unusable I have every intention of buying another EV

I actually bought a 2016 Leaf a few weeks ago when my ford fiesta did its last dance and needed to be replaced. I can’t comment on how it compares to other EVs, but I’ve had nothing but enjoyable rides with it and actually like the style of it ( which I’m apparently in the minority on that ). If you are in the market

As the world burns down around me, with wars, pollution, and plague, I would love an old fashion mmorpg like ultima or star wars galaxies to lose myself in.

maybe I’m missing something, but that warning says it may be recorded and sent to sony BY OTHER USERS.  it sounds more like a CYA to cover states/countries that require two party consent to be recorded so they can use the recordings SENT BY OTHER USERS as grounds to ban/block/whathave you?

I thought it was going to be the lack of truck nuts

I only ever played one of the th skating games, I think it was underground 2? you played some kid working his way up the skating scene. are these games like that with a story and whatnot or is it just like a skate for points in a level kinda thing ?

I gave up on theaters as soon as the pandemic hit “Oh shit” proportions. Purchased a “cheap” projector and outdoor screen.  Obviously cant do new releases unless they stream them but if I’m in the mood for popcorn and a big screen I can do so safely in my backyard.

the more i see this in the news here the more I think this is some stupid PR stunt with apple and google for some stupid theme for the next season of fortnight.

its been a while since I looked into it but it used to be that on phones the “magnification” is digital, which is just zooming in on the digital image instead of actual magnification ( i.e the same thing you can do in paint with the zoom tool ), which degrades image quality the farther you zoom in. this isn’t the case

I could possible see a form of those folds being useful if you cut the box down as you eat the cereal, so you can visually see whats left without opening the boxes. but at that point I’m just going to buy reusable clear plastic or glass containers to hold the cereal, toss the plastic in the box and compost the box.

speaking on the corporate world of development.

the ROCCAT SOVA gaming lapboard. I do all my gaming, console and PC, on my living room TV. I used to have to mess around with USB extension cables, and deal with separate keyboard and mouse for games that didn’t support a game pad and it was a nightmare I just dealt with, then I found this weird monstrosity. it has

a karevan

jumped right on this deal,  been looking for some good (in the)earbuds.  have some crappy xFyro ones that just don’t cut it.

oh wow thanks, didn’t know there was an after market for these things. unfortunately neither company sells tips for xFryo ( not surprised company isn’t that great ) but I have them both bookmarked for when I upgrade to new buds

How are the fit on these? I love in the ear buds but have a tough time finding ones that fit comfortably. I currently use a pair of xFryo Aria’s and non of the included cushions are really comfortable enough to last a day at work

At what point do we stop calling them fireworks and calling them bombs?

I would have never known about it if I hadn’t gotten a free moment at work to browse the lifehacker. the random ass recalls for greens is one of the factors of me deciding to look into producing my own food.

I’d suggest garlic , most vermin hate that shit and stay away, even deer will avoid it if they can but I’m not sure how well it would do with all that heat ya’ll get from living in hell... I mean the south. /s

Here’s the dirty secret to get your salad when commercial producers keep selling poison as salad. Grow your own. From personal experience salad greens are basically weeds in terms of their hardiness ( I live in the northeast US USDA hardiness zone 6b ). throw some seeds in a pot on your porch or near a window and pick
