Do these morons really think the celtics could beat the Warriors or even the Rockets? lol.

If I could do that I wouldn’t leave the house.

It’s not our fault you’re wrong on both guys! :)

I don’t think Boston is the big problem. I think Sports Radio in general is the culprit. The entire industry is modeled on artificial conflict and outrage to get listeners. It’s always going to be odious at its core, no matter what city it originates from.

Of course people say things like that. You get a bunch of people in a room who have suffered an assault, and some of them will blame themselves and will also blame others for “putting themselves” in a position to be harmed.

I’m all for people protesting as much as they want. He doesn’t deserve any protection from protest. But, our freedoms aren’t always protections.

C’mon. There’s a substantive difference between a “safe space” and a support group. I belong to a very necessary support group. One of the goals of the group, beyond helping people process trauma, is teaching people how to interact with the world without fear. We don’t take any pains to protect each other from

I’m a dedicated liberal. “Safe spaces” are a joke. One can choose what and what not to listen to and/or believe. Adults, in particular (and that’s what college kids are) should be able to process things that offend them. The world is rife with “micro-aggressions”; if one demands an echo chamber during this phase of

It doesn’t matter who is stealing the product...maybe Asians are coming in a stealing it and selling out out their trunks at discounted rates...maybe dumb little whites are stealing it because they think black stuff is cool...the point is, if something is being stolen and there is a risk of other similar products

This is just a ridiculous statement...no companies trust anyone..anything that gets stolen a lot, is going to get locked up...and that will be different from store to store, even in the same city. And, when you say “Society trusts white kids”, that includes black and brown folk...I’ve seen plenty of black owned and

White people and people with non-Black textured hair far out number people with Black textured hair, Wal-Mart would carry way more products catering to non-Black hair

Or maybe they did research and this was being stolen a lot, so they put things that were statistically stolen more often in a locked container. If I buy certain alcohol it’s locked up, what’s the damn rush?

Products aren’t “Black” even if mostly black people use them. Most likely Walmart analyzed data to determine as narrowly as possible what products are stolen and require extra security, whether locking them in cases/containers, electromagnetic lanyards or tags, or escorting customers to the checkout. In the situation

If this is what passes for hardcore racism in 2018, I’ll take it.

(That moment when you realize you replied to a drunk person who was just hoping other people would give them kinja stars for mentioning Sandy hook in a comment)

The BBC’s reporting has gone down the tubes in the last three years.

Eh. I find CNN to be generally more trustworthy than FOX (which isn’t saying anything at all) and MSNBC (which isn’t saying much), as both of those networks have such phenomenal amounts of partisan spin applied to every story they cover.

CNN trends Liberal, certainly, but it’s so bumbling about it that half the time it

No part of Phantom Menace worked

What is there in the prequels that could possibly have any relevance to the new movies? They themselves only existed to serve the original trilogy.

The new movies acknowledge the prequels. Kylo Ren mentions a clone army in the first one and Luke briefly recounts the rise of Darth Sidious in the new one. There’s not a lot of reason to dwell on those events 50something years later, honestly.
