If I recall (and it’s been almost 30 years since I looked at it, when I was buying my 240z), the 260z added weight, displacement, and a cat, and retarded the timing. It should be able to “wake up” the engine... but then you’re changing a 40 year old car (and I’m not sure how I feel about that)
