14 year old girls aren’t women, they’re children. So it doesn’t matter how much faster women mature than men.

a 14 year old woman
I'm just going to come right out and say it —- no fourteen year old should date a seventeen year old. And we should discontinue the assertion that girls are more mature than boys. It justifies nothing.
Ick, this line of reasoning is just ick. Please treat a 14 year old girl like a 14 year old, ‘cause there are all sorts of social, cultural, economic, biological, and other things affecting her maturity and even if she’s mature on some things she’s not mature on others and a 14 year old kid is a kid, not magically a…
Seriously, this is creepy as shit to be like, “Imma just regard 14 year old girls like 17 year olds instead. Cause I feel like I can justify that.” A 14 year old WOMAN? Just fucking stop.
They spent little to nothing on marketing it. It’s like they knew it was a fail beforehand and cut their loses.
Their business plan was to take a movie aimed at tween girls and then slap a reference to an ‘80s property on it to see if they could trick nostalgic adults into seeing it. Unsurprisingly this ended up alienating both possible audiences and nobody watched.
And unfortunately they took any resemblance to it out, so none of us are seeing it.
Except that The Hunger Games already exists with a male lead, under the title of Every Other Action Movie Ever Made: Parts XXI-DCLXVI.
Whether I agree with her opinions or not, I think asking older women—especially one of Greer’s background— to sit down and let the young’uns take over is a bit much, too.
Let her talk and defend her views, or let her talk and change her views. If we just tell her to sit down and shut up, old lady with outdated views,…
Of the two choices, Bernie and Hillary, IMHO, Bernie is not as electable (because this centrist country is not yet liberal enough to elect a democratic socialist). Hillary knows how to get elected and I think knows how to get things done. She passes the bar for me in terms of democratic principles and ideals (yes, I’m…
I have a daughter, and if she’s going to see sex on the Internet some day, I am least heartened that she might stumble upon at least some depiction of genuine female pleasure
You’re awesome :) and hang in there, the gop is only a year away from losing the election.
You are awesome.
One of the benefits of the large multinational corporation I work for is the matching donations to qualified charities. Planned Parenthood is one of them. I just went to the donation website and tripled my bi-weekly paycheck deduction of $10 to $30 to my local PP. My company will match that 100%. So that's $120 a…
I have no cash to help you, either, but you can have all my stars.
I love you so much.
But you know, every time you hear about this shit, they need more legal counsel...you are doing good work.
Donated $250 to PP in the names of my mother and grandmother, both Texas Republicans. My mother had an abortion in 1973, just after Roe v Wade and her husband left her with three children under 10. My grandmother personally knew girls who died from illegal abortions. Her motto? “Never let a man make decisions for you.”
I think Hillary looked Presidental af yesterday. It was really the first time I was like “yeah, she’d be good at that job”. I have mixed feelings on Hillary sometimes but she showed the fuck up yesterday. Well played.
