That show was my absolute favorite portrayal of the character.
And I’m sure that is 100% what she does every single morning. I like waking up before my kids do, too, but I just sit around and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Having never heard of Miskatonic, but assuming it was from a movie or video game I had not seen/played, I googled it. I was very confused for a moment when the University website and a Google maps location showed up. There’s a lot that sucks about the internet, but I love it when people commit to something literary…
It’s not enough to quietly not air it, he wants everyone to praise him for not airing it, and then maybe air it anyway. What a prince.
Dammit, you beat me to it.
Yup. I’m reserving judgment. (Risky thing to do on the internet, I know.)
I wonder if it’s the difference between real life and online life. Because in real life, all the short men I know (including my husband!) are doing fine, and only once have I ever heard an adult woman say she would not date a man under 6 feet (and she was tall herself, and screwed up in a whole lot of ways).
Oh, I adored Galavant! My husband and I still sing snippets of the songs to each other.
I was really looking forward to Les Schmiserables, and I’m seriously disappointed the series was canceled.
I meant to add that to my comment! I think, too, he only ever quoted from the Old Testament, which is also telling.
Yup. Roy talking about “natural order” in prison (showing he never gave a damn about what Jesus preached) contrasted with the grace of forgiveness and communion for Munch. I love this show.
I think what happened to him is what happens to too many female actors; when he was in Mad Men, so much ink and talk was spent on his looks, he ended up typecast as Handsome Leading Man when he is capable of so much more.
That one was my favorite until I saw this:
They’re still playing on TV, too. (I’m old school, I still watch cable and broadcast tv.)
Initially I saw Lorraine as basically the corporate version of Roy, but I’m thinking Hawley might be headed in a different direction with her (which I would like to see, especially if it means she teams up with Dorothy by the end). It may be due to JJL’s performance, but Lorraine strikes me as more thoughtful than…
The bio made me laugh, but the plot summary legit made me angry.
I’m really looking forward to this movie, and I hope it’s an instance where a reviewer and I disagree about the effectiveness of something.
I vote Harvey Guillen, because I want him to have lots of success.
I watched the first two seasons over the last week, and it’s lots of fun.
