People who are strongly pro-gun have their own terminology for gun control and “gun control” is not one of those terms.

Nope, gun-havers are quite familiar with the term “gun control” and when they want to see what the gun control lobby is up to, that’s the term they use to dig up information on it. Sure, they call people gun-grabbers and what not, but gun control is the more or less universal term for the political argument.

I disagree. I am pro-gun and often do searches on “gun control”. I am usually looking for a specific article or trying to find out what the latest anti-gun legislation that is being proposed. I have no doubt that the anti-gun folks are searching for info too but I don’t think a search denotes support for the thing…

This was also my initial thought.
