The NFL does not pay halftime performers, the only cover production costs (which can be staggering). The artist isn’t paid a dime for the show beyond the exposure they receive from being in the most viewed television event of the year.

The measure of fame she’s achieved may be the low cultural watermark of this decade. 

If you work in an industry/area that can be negatively effected by Ron fucking Perlman you may consider a new line of of work or a change of scenery. He’s C- list at best.

I’m not sure what you find that pairing so incredulous, they’re equally Hollywood attractive, equally talented (do one thing and do it fine, not good or great, just fine; though I’d say Cera actually has more range) and few outside of pop culture nerds know who they are.
