ESPECIALLY since so much was made of his month-long McDonald’s diet “destroying his liver”, in particular. Which, you know, doesn’t happen: a fatty diet destroying someone’s liver. Like. It doesn’t happen.

I think that’s why older gym teachers tend to be fat. They are typically former athletes who got into it because they thought that would be a career that used their enthusiasm for physical activity, but as they aged and became less physical themselves their diets didn’t reflect their new sedentary state.

I can’t say this with authority but it seems like the first is a reaction to the oil crisis of the 70s with gas lines and rationing as well as the inflation, unemployment and recession that hit Australia as hard as the USA. I don’t think you needed to explain to audiences at the time how that world got that way, it

So I get that using AI to replace artists and writers is a bad thing. I agree with that.

“I don’t care!”

They can start by wearing their fucking seatbelts. How many more of these incidents are we going to have before people start to understand the importance of being buckled up when seated? There were 71 injuries resulting from this incident; a whole lot of them serious spinal injuries. There weren't 71 people looking to

I think the main difference between the original Mad Max and the others is that the original isn’t fun.

Is this a joke?

Anthony Anderson was just sitting there reading the comments on AV Club minding his own business when ... BAM! ... drive by ...

Me, procrastinating and not going to bed when I should: “Kelly Rowland got into a fight with Usher at Cannes?!”

OMG that key release button...holy memories. Muscle memory from any other car was turn key—>yank, and this was turn—>yank—>f-bombs—> press button—>twist wrist uncomfortably—>yank—>more f-bombs.
