Yeah. There’s that Family Guy cutaway gag...

>but I had no problems with 89.

I35 bridge in MSP, it wasn’t done overnight but still impressively fast to investigate, demolish, remove, and rebuild in around a year. Several barge cranes and an army of people with cutting torches will likely get it cleared surprisingly quickly, rebuild would be a separate story but not as likely to impede commerce.

In principle I'd watch Independence Day again, but I'm trying to think of a situation where that would actually happen. I'm not going to pay money for it, and if I saw it streaming for free I would probably scroll down and find something else. I guess if someone else turned it on I wouldn't leave.

Where are the three grades 87, 88.5, and 90? Is this shopped? Where I live (Long Island) it’s generally 87, 91, and 93 - and my GLI specifies 91 preferred (will run on 87 but with reduced power/efficiency).

That oil slick coming from beneath the surface of the water.

ok expert. how do you think supply companies ever blend gasoline components properly? if they are always going to separate? once they are blended, it’s all the same weight dummy.

I see they’ve gotten to the “we can jump out of planes and shit” phase of this series, by where they are superhuman now, not just cops.

Mmm... Independence Day and Men in Black I’d miss. Enemy of the State barely skirts the line. Everything else, nah.

Back in the late 70s/early 80s a lot of vehicle would start to knock on regular as they got up in miles. Frequently using midgrade would stop the knocking.

I like how Martin just keeps getting fatter, which tracks for their characters (family guy vs perpetual bachelor).

The third one was such a pleasant surprise and working Joey Pants back in, however dumb it will ultimately be, is a surefire way to get me to go see this one.

And The Stand.

Or a good Key and Peele sketch.

Or pretty much every other Morgan Freeman role from Driving Miss Daisy on

Was Morpheus really a “magical negro” though? He seemed to have too much agency for that. I thought the trope referred to people like the caddy Bagger Vance.

just checking into the comments to make sure luke was getting sufficiently nutpunched

I came here all ready to trash this movie but then

The day before the comments went away on Kotaku i saw the impending change being discussed there. Something to do with a pivot to more guides & less news, mandated by the person who makes such decisions for Gizmodo (Herb something?). The Root did away with their comments entirely a while back as well, but I gathered
