oh he’s definitely put out dogshit, but ‘hack’ is a bridge way too far for a guy with that resume. more than anything he makes interesting choices and i respect that a lot. even road house is an interesting choice...in a bad way haha.

i think we really lost something when we stopped giving low-level villains monster truck fleets (see also: tango and cash)
I didn’t even think of the “mall” component haha
I have more sympathy for Maggie Gyllenhaal who had no idea what she was getting into
It’s been a while, but was there anything that qualified it as a remake besides “zombies in a mall?”
Every time we see the “REMEMBER HER” tagline, my wife goes, “Hey, remember her?” and we chuckle.
I was thinking, after how intense the Craig Bond canon was, we were due for a suave-but-not-camp Bond. Less OTT action, more intrigue.
...or she knew playing a younger version of a character a dozen years later would be a tough sell and is cool with it?
It sounds like the guitar riff from “the man who sold the world” in there, so I’m sure the editors of the trailer are pleased.
Mansory could probably make it look better... Couldn't make it much worse.
Sounds awful, can’t wait to watch it.
Listen, Zoomers or Groomers or Floomers or whatever the fuck you punks call yourselves, some Gen X movies are sacred.
Did anyone think McGregor could act?
Check out bullet train. He’s fantastic in it.
Not quite the “holy shit how is this a real movie” vibe the Fury Road trailers had, but I’m sold.
Yeah, Bullet Train was the first time that this guy made any kind of impression on me.
Make it a period piece. Should’ve done that years ago
Connery, Lazenby, Moore, Dalton, Brosnan, Craig. That’s six.
I wasn’t a huge fan of this choice when it was first rumored a year or so ago but after seeing Bullet Train, I can totally buy it.
It's not like Dan's character in Better Off Dead wasn't a creeper anyway. He and his mom basically treated Diane Franklin like a Mail-order bride, not an exchange student.
