Man... that’s what I tell everyone that’s trying to do manufacturing in China, especially contracted out to 3rd parties.

Speaking specifically to the QX80, there aren’t many vehicles that compete in that space. The GMT siblings, the Ford T3 platform siblings, the Sequoia/Lexus LX. I’m not sure it’s fair to include the Mazda or Hyundai/Kia in that group - they’re either a class or 1/2 a class down

We test drove an Expedition Platinum and

Well, that’s what that dude meant by it, sure. But no one else actually gives a fuck about that.

he was clearly wary about it too and that bleeds into the narrative in a very interesting way.

Dude just plain fucking sucks. Still, it’s nice to have a(nother) living example of how fucked up and weird the Kennedys were, are, and likely will continue to be.

i gotta say i only hear the “i’m not sure about this guy telling this story” misgivings from people who haven’t seen the movie.

There was an analysis last year that the only studio that had done well from streaming was Sony, because they had the good sense to not start a streaming service but to instead just license their content to other services.  All profit, no insane server costs for no gain.

I can’t believe people are still paying money to go see this.

Better safe than sorry.

I can’t imagine spending an arm and a leg to see a performer that has such well known contempt for her audience that making them wait two hours is on the short end of the spectrum for what she’s been known to do for years. As I’ve heard it’s usually three hours wait.

The early 2000s M45s were so cool! They always make me think of Yakuza gangsters, in a timeless effortlessly cool sort of way.

Bob the Drag Queen — the popular Season 8 winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in 2016 — has been opening for another queen, Madonna, on her “Celebration Tour” that kicks off its US leg at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Wednesday night.” New York Post

This is the most blatant use of false advertising sing my suit against the film “The Never Ending Story”!

The saddest part is that outside of the QX80 (gross) their cars all look REALLY good, especially the Q60. They have high-powered engines and know how to make sporty cars, but their interiors and tech are just so ASS.

I too need exercise after eating too many wontons.

I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again:

Infiniti is the Dollar General of luxury brands, and that’s ok.

I shop at Dollar General, and I own a QX80 (technically it’s my wife’s) and I get 75% of the value/quality at 50% of the cost.

Isn’t that more the dealership and/or management at that particular dealer? I’m sure all Infiniti dealers aren’t like that.  Of course if Infiniti dealers had better products to sell that were competitive the salespeople probably wouldn’t have to resort to such sleazy tactics.  It’s surprising dealers still do that.

Rolling trash? Consumer Reports says about the 2023 Nissan Rogue that “We found the Rogue to be taut and agile, relatively quiet, and user-friendly, making it a compelling small SUV.”

That’s a long time for dealers to have to wait.
