Unlikely? I have friends who bought a new Model 3 that was delivered with a 12V battery that died overnight the first night they owned the thing. It will definitely go dead in a few weeks of not driving the car.

The charge port door isn’t even the main issue. For safety reasons, the main battery is connected to the rest of the electrical system via a big-ass relay. Guess what needs to be there to activate that relay? 12V power.

0F and -20F rounds to “really fucking cold” either way.

Somewhere, in a parallel universe maybe, there is a Swedish version of David Tracy who is inconsolable having just read this article.

To be fair, even ICE vehicles have been struggling in this weather. The neighbor’s kids have to keep their cars in the driveway and this morning they barely cranked over.

Although they *did* eventually crank over.

These EVs are just not ready for prime time. Let me know why yall iron out the kinks and until then I’mma go with combustion. Sorry, nothing against EV but this stuff just has too many sacrifices and we can no longer wishful think and hope it won’t suck.

We took a round trip using Brightline in November and the experience was excellent - infinitely better and far less stressful than driving on the Turnpike to Orlando. However, most of the ride through the 3 southern counties was fairly slow, with only occasional bursts to 80mph. The conductor was hitting the horn

but for those who don’t have an at-home charging solution, allow yourself ample time and charge to get to a public charger.

The first two seasons of Barry it was definitely a dark comedy. The third season of Barry was just dark. The fourth season I’m not even sure wtf was going on.

Yeah 0 Faranheit today is beach weather....

I dd my tesla y. Never charged above 80%, never fast charged, restrict my charge rate to 15A, use precondition before drive. Barely see any impact on range.

I think S1-2 of Barry were comedy and then S3 took its real Sopranos turn

When I was in high school they showed us this during drivers ed.

What do you do in a gasoline car that only has a keyfob and no physical key that has a dead battery?

Porsche is that special German case where they make it so because they’re the most German of the Germans and nothing will deny their German engineering designs.

Well I mean Lohan DOES have red hair and I mean if she wasn’t shaving....

The simple answer is that the producers knew that if they submitted the show as a drama it wouldn’t stand a chance of winning, especially up against a juggernaut like Succession. It’s the same reason there are more than a few actors who have won major awards in supporting categories when they were clearly the leads.

Ah, never had to open and jump start a dead Porsche I see. Go look up that procedure, it’s not EV’s making everything more complicated. ICE cars have their share of complications

As opposed to just sticking a key into the car door, pop open the hood, and jump starting it with anything from a car to a jumper battery pack.

While Rice’s co-stars Reneé Rapp and Christopher Briney were a little confused about a question that used the abbreviation LiLo to refer to the actress”
