It’s a sad fact of life that the majority of people simply do not understand satire. It’s another sad fact of life that, if you rewrite a piece of satire to make it clear enough for those people to understand it, you’d just be creating bad satire.

It almost goes without saying at this point that Fight Club is probably the most misunderstood film of all time - by both most of its fans as well as those who hate it. It’s so clearly warning against how seductive fascism can be yet people somehow still don’t get it.
What if we went full depression era here, and created a new city on federal land, and set the residents to work on government projects?
“Is it strange to anyone else that the Texans carted out a minor internet celebrity to sing a song about how this country persevered through a war waged against the country that most of the teams on the F1 grid hail from? Welcome to our country, thanks for visiting and bringing billions of dollars in economic…
Box office is already confirming that: $10.3m in Thursday night previews.
I think Simon LeBon was such a charismatic and good-looking front man that the others (also very pretty) didn’t get the credit they deserved for their musical talent.

You get that oil film lifting up and holy hell, you better drive the Charger like Grandma till you get it home. It’s terrifying how easily the 440 will break loose.
I love listening to clips of famous musicians absolutely rave about John Taylor’s awesome bass line in “Rio.”
As we used to say back in the day - “fat girls and mopeds, both fun to ride until your friends see you”.
“This is an administrative decision, not a court decision”
Love The Reflex. I’m basically a metalhead but good music is good music.
I was making a left turn at a 4-way stoplight intersection with the Charger. My foot slipped off the throttle and I immediately jammed it back on.
This needs to be highlighted in here. SUWA and theirteam of lawyers made this decision, less the BLM. A non-profit association is now able to make the laws of the government
The off-road community has been warned, multiple times, in the past about bad behavior in all National Parks. They mostly responded by behaving worse each time. We're in the find out stage now.
