How on earth did this guy think Tesla was just going to say “damn, check bounced, oh well, our loss. Hope he enjoys his free tesla”

In retrospect, his only regret was committing crimes that linked to his name. And his bank account. And his home address. Other than that, it was the perfect crimes!

“Sure, man, I’ll pay you four hundred and ninety three thousand dollars in restitution. Eleven million? How about eleven million? In fact, 1.25 billion dollars, that’s what I, Michael Gonzalez, will pay you, book it.”

Imagine selling something for $100 on FB Marketplace and forgetting to take payment before handing over the item.

I don’t think there were a lot of those people.  Like, if they got upset over having women in lead/warrior roles then they were probably just being general assholes and weren’t actually fans of the original movie.  They were just the loud people, pretty much everyone who didn’t like it that I saw and talked to had the

There are a lot of us who were just highly disappointed by the whole thing because it totally failed to recapture the spirit of the movie.

It should be a law that Tuesday is Ice Cream Day for everyone

Correct, which is why people struggle with Fain’s above statement.  The UAW has been trying to unionize the Japanese/European auto makers for years, and they’ve never been successful because the employees don’t want it.

No, you see, getting rid of the Focus and Fusion was all part of Ford’s brilliant strategy to get people into an Ecosport! Or no wait, that’s gone... how about an Escape! No actually nevermind. Maybe an Edge? Wait no, sorry. Actually how about a Maverick? They’ve currently got the wait time down to about a year.

They’re asking for raises PLUS the reinstatement of COLA (tied to the CPI), which (if I remember correctly) both Ford and GM have agreed to. Not sure about Stellantis.

Although it had fuck-all to do with the Willow story itself, props to you for bringing the story, the legend, of Ray J Johnson to the younger generation.

But..but they were/are overbuying content and projecting exponential growth in perpetuity.” I work for the Mouse and the amount of money it takes to get even the smallest shit done is insane. And when just one of your series titles is like 200m, and you’ve got 8-10 projects of that size in the pipeline every fiscal

Can we maybe stop shoving video content down our throats? I see a link to this video multiple times per visit. If people haven’t clicked on it the other 50 times they saw the link, they probably don’t care now.

“He (Bill Ford) said the strike is hindering the company’s ability to compete with automakers like Toyota and Tesla.”

Why not make it available on VOD rental/buy? That I don’t understand.

The problem is not so much the equivalent draw as where you put something like that. If you assume there are four 1-MW stations, there are not a lot of places on the average local grid where you can just drop a 4-MW load.

I don’t care about range. heck, my Spitfire can barely do 200 miles on a tank of gas. But I can fill it up in less than 5 minutes and do it again and again, literally anywhere in the country without worrying about whether there will be a charger where I am going, that the charger will work, that I have the right

You do have to wonder how many looked at it, knew what it was, but didn’t say anything because they didn’t want to admit they knew what it was.

Toyota is just subtly letting us know they have a lot of shit in the works that they just don’t want getting out.
