Are people seriously rooting for Beyoncé like she’s some underappreciated, underground newcomer? Honestly at this point it’s like people hoping that King Charles wins the lottery.

It’s not up to Harry Styles to make Beyonce or her fans feel better. He won. She didn’t. He doesn’t have to apologise, nor muse on whether or not she should have won, nor deflect from his own accomplishment.

My takeaway is the author seemingly feels Beyonce should just be given ANY award she is nominated for based on her existence.

I feel like the problem, if there is one, is not up to Harry Styles to fix, but sure.

I didn’t watch DJ Khaled in this, but everything I have seen is basically just him wandering around saying “Uh, Uh, DJ Khaled” like his own hype man, while everyone else on stage actually performs. 

I’m not dissing Gibson at all. He’s great. And I think this role pre-dates his descent into finding out he’s a shit-heel. But I think Willis could have well handled this role in the same way you suggest too. Would have made for an interesting trilogy - really a quadrilogy with Glass I s’pose.

Beyoncé should have won album of the year for Lemonade, no question. That album was an absolute revelation, and the Grammys not honoring her for that is insane. That said, Renaissance is not at the level of Lemonade—Beyoncé won the Grammys she should have won for this more niche album (relatively speaking).

If its priced accordingly, and there are good records of both the original damage and repairs, no problem. At some point, there would be enough damage for a hard no, but in plenty of cases you can score a good deal if it’s been done right.

And it's exactly the answer that everyone gives. "Lots of strong competition, any of the nominees deserved it, blah blah blah." It's only "dodging" the question if he was expected to say "I should have lost to Beyonce."
