This would be such an easy topic for Republicans to unplug if they wanted to avoid the heartless label, but the fact is the portion of the population that is actually trans is miniscule and the people who vote the issue are already Democrats. So this is free red meat.

No-fault divorce wrecks yet another family!

I said they should have first song pick, but to actually be the first performance? Tremendous.

*billion

Of course not. But for that short period Newsom got to shout to anyone who would listen that California was sitting on a massive surplus (and apparently I undersold it - quick reading says with federal COVID and other transfers it was closer to $100 million)

Now this is what keeps me coming back to AVC.  Bravo.

A movie to see once for any pop culture completist, and then never again.

Family or not, no one is putting that thing at my dining table.

I don’t think we’re supposed to use that word anymore.

So wrong, yet so right.

I’ve been hailed on in Colorado during the summer when a front came through more than once.  It was weird, but hardly rare.

California had a $40 billion surplus just a couple of years ago, an unheard-of situation that they will never see again, and set funding at that level. They’re screwed.

I’d be hesitant to have another pack popped into my car as well.  Plus the testing necessary every time one came in to charge would be a nightmare.

Plenty of people were saying that Toyota had it right focusing on hybrids until the infrastructure was proven.  I know I’m not basing my business model on flawless execution of a government program.  $5 billion allocated to EV infrastructure with a goal of 500,000 chargers constructed by 2026.  So far, single digits.

The airport serving the hub of California government wouldn’t allow charging stations to be built??  I’m both surprised and not.

I also wonder how many people who have never navigated a Tesla touchscreen got into accidents trying to perform some mundane task.

Begging the question why you should be required to return it fully charged. Given the broadly acknowledged hassle, rentals agencies should be charging them as a service and baking it into the price.

I think your disclaimer probably captures the situation.  No way all was sunshine and roses one second and then the partnership was permanently (?) terminated the next over one ill-conceived comment.

Yeah this really seems like a “dude, don’t do that” moment as opposed to a “fuck this, I’m out for good.” I’m guessing Black’s annoyance with Gass was already at a breaking point.

Talk about a woman who didn’t get what she thought she was signing up for.
