Shit. Those fools still owe you money!

Funny how people with this entirely rational perspective were shouted down for years. I’m a perfect candidate for a PHEV and that will probably be what I get next. Commute 20 miles round-trip but semi-regularly need to travel farther than I’d be comfortable going on a BEV charge.
Same, from Italy. Only when we had a sprinter van to move our group of 7 with luggage to and from train stations did we need anything of much size. There were exactly zero SUVs.
There’s no more direct (legal) incentive than financial, so this solution is definitely the cleanest line to reduced demand.
Isn’t the massive dichotomy between small cars offered and huge trucks largely in response to mileage regulations? Midsized and larger sedans meanwhile continue to languish.
It’s not so much avoiding riff-raff as getting as many people through there as quickly as possible. The parking lots are already packed. But you’re right, the food is eons better than it has any right to be, not least because they move huge volumes so everything’s fresh.
The range of possibilities at southern gas stations is vast. A lot of the old ones like people are describing here have been replaced with large, clean stores. I absolutely steer clear of the tiny dingy ones because at this point I can except in an emergency. In those, you forgot to mention the pervasive smell of…
I believe this was posted in an article here a few years ago, but seeing this as I cross into Texas from Louisiana on I-10 will never not make me laugh. It’s silly since Houston and San Antonio do sit between Beaumont and El Paso, but the point is made.
Most of them get pretty crowded on weekends or surrounding holidays, but yeah the only time I’ve had a really hard time getting out of one was when it first opened in I-10 near the Florida / Alabama line. I live in TX and have been to the ones there a hundred times with no hassle. The novelty effect in new…
Ha, I deserve some shit for that fuckup. Granted Tombstone is a modern classic. But yeah...Yellowstone.
He’s also acknowledged repeatedly how phobic some of his standup material was, and that he cringes now when he hears it. It was such common humor at the time that few people who weren’t themselves gay thought twice.
I.V.! I’ll post the same thing I did when Rabin popped up a few days ago...
About halfway through I scrolled back up to check the byline. “This reads a whole lot like HOLY SHIT! FUCK YEAH!”
Obligatory “how’d you leave this out?!” complaint - destroying Wolf Blitzer on Jeopardy:
Pettiness in the entertainment industry? I refuse to believe it.
Would make reviews simpler too.
I was going to throw in Adventureland but it looks like that one actually didn’t make much money. His role is basically the Zombieland guy without zombies.
Yeah I don’t blame the Grey’s writers one bit for feeling insulted by her statement. That was a shitty thing to say. She show is pulp (look at the description of the plot points in the season she won for) and sometimes that’s going to land, and sometimes it’s not. The year before they wrote well enough to help win her…
I’m with you on casting directors. Just a few days ago this site celebrated her lack of available fucks to give. If it’s me, I’m casting people who give lots of fucks about the projects they work on.
I LOVE that Days of Thunder is on his roster. That movie is such gloriously dumb fun (and of course looks great). Meanwhile The Firm and first MI are tight as hell.
