With interest rates as they are today (assuming a credit rating such that you have any business buying a new car in the first place), paying cash for a car that is more than beer money is really rather silly. Invest the cash, finance the car.

How about no screens! It’s *way* easier to do these things safely (without looking at stuff other than the road) when you have physical controls. Voice recognition doesn’t count, cars are loud and computers are still very stupid.

I am also no gun expert, but grew up with many around the house (father is a collector). Being familiar with firearms the main thing that tips me off that this is nothing to worry about is the orange tip—it’s there on most toy guns for that exact purpose.

These things are motorcycles full stop. 30 mph crash is a 30 mph crash. People just can’t seem to get in their heads that scooters aren’t safer than motorcycles. If anything, with less power, weaker brakes, smaller profile, they’re *more* dangerous. If we’re going to rethink modes of transportation for modern times…
