Our Boot is really amazing to drive. It’s fantastic on the road and off road floats over bumps. Driving a night stint during pre running was the most fun I’ve ever had in a moving vehicle. We’ve begun to deliver customer Boots and are beginning to build 4DR versions. We be back racing the Baja as soon as racing there…

I’m moving my life more that way and I’ve never been happier. Yes, I also own a variety of cargo shorts and often go weeks with my only shoes being Reefs.
The real question is why didn’t they just move the gear selector somewhere else, like onto the dash? Seems like a rotary shifter on the dash would’ve been a simpler idea. But I assume that Ford truck buyers don’t like rotary shifters, so that’s why they didn’t do that.
Why didn’t they just use a column shifter? That would’ve been way easier and more reliable than this motorised folding thing.
First: join the M3 forums and ask for a local to go look at it. Those guys will know the cars better than any salesman and can tell you exactly what it is. I have done this many times for MS3s and can give honest feedback that a dealer never will
