Hmmm. Have you seen the YouTube videos where people get 1st drives of this? Chris Harris and Mat Watson both had the cars fail when testing. Sabine Schmit, Jessi Combs and now Ken Block =( Loosing all the greats in the automotive world. Seemed like a great guy to, down to earth, he will be missed.

So great to see Oldman in this character again.  I barely care if it has a plot, so long as he gets plenty of screentime.  It feels like this one has gotten off to a faster pace than the first season as it’s mostly bypassing the character intros.

So glad this is happening.  I hope they do all the books.  Oldman is inspired casting.

Agree. His comedy basically relies on him stating what he truly thinks about a “hot” subject up front. Then he dances along the lines of what is and isn’t “okay” to say regarding said subject for the sake of comedy in subsequent bits. He’s been doing that for as long as I’ve watched him and what he said on SNL amounts…

Yeah...it’s easy to judge. But we’ve all done dumb stuff that people would wonder...how? It happens. Although I had no idea that diesel wouldn’t grenade itself once you tried to turn it on with petrol. Interesting.

Didn’t Doug D crash a Challenger at one point too?

You didn’t mention this in the story, but when you borrowed the Escalade, did the owner tell you it was a diesel? I can’t imagine even considering the possibility if I wasn’t told explicitly. Also, I know others that have made this error, it can happen pretty easily from simple muscle memory.
