The RS500 was 350 hp. The last RS was 305.

So I knew it was going to be AWD. I didn't see pics prior to the reveal though. I'm surprised at how subdued it is relative to the previous RS. In my opinion in a good way. The Focus/FoST is a decent looking car already. It looks like they've just been working out a little harder.

Same here haha. I've known for awhile it will be AWD. The only unknown is the price at this point...

On a completely unrelated note: Your avatar is awesome.

I know someone. It will be AWD.

I briefly mentioned why I think it's AWD in the post above. Clearly it will have a bigger sticker than the Focus ST, so AWD will help justify that, and make it a more legit competitor to the hot hatches and sport sedans in the $30,000 range. Also, it shares a platform with the MKC and Escape, both of which have AWD

General comment here. RWD cars are obvious choices for unlikely snow cars. However, RWD cars with snow tires in the winter are almost as fun as RWD cars with summer tires in the summer.

Say what you will about Jay Leno but the man has impeccable taste in cars. His knowledge and enthusiasm come through every time in videos like this. He's basically living the gearhead's dream and is nice enough to share it with the rest of us.

I see 2 Malibus. One is sportier. I'd concede that one is a Malibu and the other is a MaliBOOM. But those are Malibus.

Your assertion is that they don't look alike?

I guess that explains why no one is buying them then.

I'm definitely in the minority here but the only one of those four I'd have any interest in would be the SS. I have no love at all for the retro muscle cars.

Really? I love the current 3. Probably one of my favorite Mazda designs ever.

I hate it when my superiors argue in front of me. I'm so confused.

Nice. I did soil myself in glee. In other news, I found out that soiling yourself is an almost immediate cure for glee.

Every S class.

From what I've read the Veyron is too heavy and overpowered to be a strong contender on track. Unless the track involves lots of long flat-out stretches it can be beaten by cars with 4-500 less horsepower. The car was made to show what levels of performance are possible, not to be a serious contender on track.

Speed doesn't kill. Stupidity does. I believe their smart decision to record the video in landscape mode is what gave them enough good karma to survive this pants on head retarded maneuver.
